Were looking for a Principal Software Engineer Android to join Snap Inc!
What youll do:
Push the limits of mobile devices and build great user experiences
Build smooth stable and fun products
Develop features from design through implementation and launch
Evaluate technical tradeoffs of every decision and work with design on the best UI and infrastructure practices
Perform code reviews that guarantee code quality
Grow and lead our technical bench of 150 Android engineers across the company
Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
Ability to use Kotlin Java RxJava Dagger and other great tools to build smooth stable and fun products
Able to prioritize duties and work well on your own
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors in technical field such as computer science mathematics statistics or equivalent years of experience
10 years of industry experience
2 years of experience with technical leadership or acting as the domainexpert to a technical organization
Experience in technical leadership/ownership and setting technical direction for engineering projects
Experience architecting designing and developing distributed systems
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Android application development
Experience working with largescale customerfacing mobile application
Experience leading teams to deliver sophisticated initiatives
Experience with crossplatform mobile development

Compensation
In the United States work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidates starting pay will be determined based on jobrelated skills experience qualifications work location and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position. These pay zones may be modified in the future.
The base salary range for this position is $276000$414000 annually.This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
