Job Description
Mater Private Hospitals in Townsville Mackay and Rockhampton are seeking enthusiastic qualified General Paediatricians to join our teams.
Mater is an iconic health service the largest of its kind in Australia with almost 12000 births statewide and capturing over 50 of Queenslands private maternity market share.

Mater has opportunities for both new and experienced Paediatricians that include employment supported and independent private practice models. Mater is an iconic health service the largest of its kind in Australia and is here to support you to be successful.
What you will be doing:
Specifically the role will be required to provide inpatient and on call service to our Mater Private Hospitals. We will support you in your transition to private practice.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Registration as a Medical Practitioner without conditions with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Specialist registration: Paediatrics and Child Health General Paediatrics
- Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) or equivalent
- Completed Advanced Training in General Paediatrics with the RACP or equivalent
