Job Description
We currently have a vacancy for a Java Developer fluent in English to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the companys premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major clients IT team on site.
Your tasks:
- Develop and maintain applications in accordance with specifications and technical best practices;
- Perform requirements analysis;
- Create process and data models draw up technical specifications and build prototypes;
- Investigate technical solutions which meet a list of requirements and standards;
- Assist the project manager in making proposals for the definition of tasks estimates and deliverables;
- Develop unit and integration test suites plans and programs;
- Define and integrate technological components or applications;
- Assist with the deployment and configuration of the system;
- Take part in application support by investigating issues 3rd level support etc..
Requirements
- Master degree in IT or relevant discipline combined with minimum 8 years of relevant working experience in IT;
- Minimum 8 years of experience in application development;
- Minimum 8 years of experience with UML or case tools;
- Minimum 8 years of experience with relational databases;
- Minimum 8 years of experience with IT development: server and clientbased libraries and technologies relating to Java JavaScript Oracle DB scripting languages servlet containers etc.;
- Excellent experience with Springboot and Kubernetes;
- Knowledge of web standards CSSbased design crossbrowser compatibility;
- Knowledge of REST and working with APIs developing APIs etc.;
- Knowledge of issuetracking and ticketing tools;
- Knowledge of application integration;
- Knowledge of database management systems;
- Experience with Agile Scrum or DevOps would be considered as a plus;
- Excellent command of the English language.
