We are seeking qualified SpeechLanguage Pathologists to join our dynamic team in Houston TX to help patients achieve their communication and swallowing goals in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess diagnose and treat speech language communication and swallowing disorders in patients of varying ages and backgrounds.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of each patient.
Conduct therapy sessions using evidencebased techniques to address patient goals.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians occupational therapists physical therapists and caregivers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Provide education and counseling to patients families and caregivers on therapy techniques and progress.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations treatment plans progress notes and discharge summaries in compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Stay current with advancements in the field through continued education and training.
Qualifications:
Masters degree in SpeechLanguage Pathology from an accredited institution.
Valid SpeechLanguage Pathology license in the state of Texas (or eligibility to obtain licensure).
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCCSLP) from the American SpeechLanguageHearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
Strong clinical skills and a passion for patient care.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred Experience:
Experience in working with pediatric adult or geriatric populations (based on the setting).
Experience in skilled nursing outpatient clinics schools or hospitals is a plus.
