Job Description
Craving the chance to build something great Were building the future of snacking at Kellanova! Join our team as a Machine Operator where you will play a crucial role in identifying and preventing issues in the plant environment. Safety of employees and our products is crucial and as a Machine Operator you will help us achieve our safety goals by proactively accessing your environment and attending to issues or concerns. In this role you must have flexibility to work 12 hours shifts with hours being 6a6p or 6p6a on a 223 rotation and all overtime as assigned. Pay for this role is $25.43.
A Taste of What Youll Be Doing
- Measure twice and cut once Producing highquality finished goods and ensuring efficient and safe machine operation.
- Technical and Manual Machine Operating Inspecting equipment and performing basic adjustments and preventative maintenance when needed.
- Adhering to Safety Practices Following all Company Safety Rules and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Continuous Improvement You will have the opportunity to establish strong partnerships with different departments across the plant and work together to ensure everything is in place.
Were Looking for Someone With
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrate the ability to operate machinery.
- Willingness and ability to work weekends holidays and variable shifts.
- Physically must be able to stand for long hours and be able to lift at or above the waist at a maximum of 50 pounds.
- This position requires regular attendance and punctuality in accordance with Company policies. Additionally the ability to interact well with other employees and work overtime as necessary is required.
