Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and highly qualified private tutor to assist high school students in their preparation for the ACT test. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching particularly in test preparation and will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
Develop customized lesson plans for individual students based on their strengths and weaknesses
Provide oneonone tutoring sessions to students in order to improve their performance on the ACT test
Administer practice tests and review results with students to identify areas for improvement
Provide feedback and guidance to students on testtaking strategies time management and study habits
Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to provide progress updates and discuss areas for improvement
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Education or related field
Minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching or tutoring with a focus on test preparation
Strong knowledge of the ACT test format content and scoring
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to develop and implement effective lesson plans
Experience working with High School aged students.
