Job Description
Iron Fish is seeking a motivated and resultsdriven Sales Associate in the Florida and Georgia regions to join our team. This position will report to the Vice President of Operations and is essential in expanding our client base building relationships with potential clients and driving business growth. The ideal candidate will have a passion for construction strong sales skills and the ability to identify new business opportunities. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and growing industry contributing directly to the success of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the multifamily renovation industry. Proactively research and generate leads through networking referrals cold calling industry events and online platforms.
- Maintain and update a pipeline of prospective clients track sales activities and report on sales performance using CRM tools. Set and achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall sales strategy.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients architects contractors and other industry professionals to ensure customer satisfaction and fostering longterm partnerships. Understand client needs and align company services to deliver solutions.
- Work with marketing to generate and deliver compelling material and capability statements to potential clients showcasing the companys projects and services.
- Market Analysis & Research: Conduct market research to identify industry trends competitor activities and potential areas for growth.
- Collaboration: Work closely with project management team to ensure accurate project proposals timelines and budgets are provided to clients.
- Networking & Industry Events: Attend industry trade shows conferences and networking events to expand the companys presence and generate new business opportunities.
- Customer Feedback & Improvement: Gather feedback from clients after project completion to assess satisfaction and identify areas for service improvement or additional business opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Construction Management Sales Marketing or a related field.
- 13 years of sales or business development experience preferably in the construction or multifamily renovation industry.
- Skills:
- Strong communication negotiation and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Ability to identify market trends and opportunities for growth.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint).
- Selfmotivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of the construction industry including understanding of key players.
