Job Summary:
Under general supervision complete job duties that may include assembly of precision components or subsystems having both optomechanical and electrooptical assemblies. Perform test and verification procedures for complex optomechanical and electrooptical components and subassemblies using defined production procedures.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Interpreting drawings training manuals and instructions in order to perform duties
Assembling installing repairing troubleshooting and maintaining electronic components and systems
Perform complex bonding and curing procedures
Operate test equipment instruments and automated test documentation
Inspect and verify that work is complete and correct
Perform other related duties as assigned
Job Qualifications:
High school diploma or Equivalent required Associates Degree a plus.
1 2 years of mechanical assembly experience strongly preferred electrical assembly experience a plus.
Able and willing to lift up to 50 pounds for short durations
Demonstrated ability to learn on the job
Optic assembly experience preferred
Meticulous attention to detail
Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen U.S. national legal permanent resident asylee refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.
