Maintenance Assistant Lewiston 261
So much fun stuff happens in our classrooms every day! But it takes a lot great people to make that fun happen including maintenance technicians who ensure there are safe and well maintained classrooms and work spaces. LCECP is seeking someone who likes to make sure things run smoothly who has a working knowledge of many areas including carpentry electrical plumbing and automotive. Someone who loves to problem solve and sees challenges as opportunities to learn something new.
Position Summary:
Our Maintenance Assistants are an important part of the team at LCECP by helping to keep our workspaces and classrooms well maintained and safe of our staff and the children we work with every day. We are looking for someone dependable who understands how important keeping our buildings safe and cared for is for the work that we do everyday.
The Maintenance Assistants will be responsible for:
Maintain a clean orderly and safe work environment
Planning and laying out minor repair work for all Agency locations
Perform general maintenance tasks such as painting drywall repair furniture assembly
Provide grounds keeping services such as landscaping and snow removal

Education Requirement:
High school diploma or GED
Experience working in maintenance
Must possess a drivers license and have a clean driving record
Must be willing to get further education as needed/required to acquire or maintain skills.
Hours: 40 hrs. / 52 weeks a year
Shift: 7 am to 4 pm
Wage: $17.03 per hour
Benefits available after 90 days.
