Finance Assistant Teaching Professor (Undergraduate Analytics Program)
The Jack Welch College of Business & Technology invites applications for one assistant teaching faculty position in the undergraduate analytics program starting August 2025. A doctorate in analytics or a graduate degree with significant and ongoing experience is required along with evidence of excellence in teaching and/or teaching potential. The ideal candidate is expected to teach undergraduate courses in programming database management and analytics with a preference given to candidates who can demonstrate experience in these areas.
The ideal candidate will be expected to:
- Teach introductory and upperlevel undergraduate courses in analytics.
- Contribute to curricular development activities.
- Participate in department school and universitylevel services including advising students.
- Incorporate applied material into their coursework to prepare students for the workforce.
- Assist in the creation and delivery of curricular and professional development activities relevant for students pursuing careers in analytics.
Successful candidates will be asked to submit three letters of reference before an offer can be extended.

SHUs Jack Welch College of Business & Technology is AACSBaccredited and enrolls over 2000 students. It is housed on SHUs West Campus approximately one mile from the main campus.
