Job Description
Since its founding in 2004 Podium Developments has had a successful track record of entitling developing and constructing new mixeduse residential buildings in urban infill locations often near major educational institutions. With many completed projects in Toronto Oshawa Kingston Barrie Guelph and Miami and several more currently under development and construction in the GTA Podium continues to bring new developments to fruition.
Podium is seeking a Finishing Site Superintendent to join our 3070 Ellesmere project team in Scarborough. The Finishing Site Superintendent will oversee the finishing stages of construction to ensure the delivery of a topquality project on time.
Major Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all finishing activities of the project including: drywall painting flooring trim carpentry etc.
- Coordinate with all trade contractors and suppliers to ensure smooth operations ontime delivery and efficient project .
- Oversee scheduling budgeting and resource planning to ensure efficient project .
- Implement quality assurance measures onsite perform inspections and resolve any defects or issues promptly.
- Enforce health and safety regulations onsite to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
- Supervise subcontractors and manage any own forces skilled and general labor to ensure work is completed on time and meets required standards.
- Track project progress manage budgets and provide regular updates to senior management and clients.
- Oversee final inspections and manage the completion and handover of the project.
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum 12 years experience as a Finishing Site Superintendent.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong communications skills.
- Strong technical construction understanding of residential highrise buildings.
