Purpose of the Role:
As an IT Field Support Specialist you will play a vital role in ensuring a high level of IT service delivery across the organization. You will spend approximately 75 of your time traveling to various sites engaging directly with stakeholders to understand their challenges and provide tailored IT solutions. The remaining 25 of your time will involve administrative tasks managing tickets and handling hardware maintenance and repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactive Support: Be onsite building relationships with key stakeholders to identify challenges and align IT solutions with business goals.
- Hardware & Software Support: Provide both remote and onsite support ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Incident Management: Accurately record all activities in the ITSM tool offering clear feedback and updates to users.
- Team Collaboration: Work as part of a distributed IT team liaising with third parties and internal departments as needed.
- Security & Compliance: Identify and mitigate security incidents maintain GDPR compliance and manage application and network vulnerabilities.
- Documentation: Ensure all procedures and systems documentation are uptodate and followed.
- Backup & Monitoring: Maintain robust backup systems and monitor for failures to prevent data loss.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest technology trends through training and research.
- Business Integration: Develop a strong understanding of business operations and the critical role of IT.

- Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks make sound decisions and manage time effectively.

- Qualifications: Full driving license and a readiness to gain relevant IT qualifications.
- Language Skills: Fluency in at least two of the following languages: German Dutch French Polish (both written and verbal).
