Job Description
Join a leading healthcare organization in the scenic Finger Lakes region of New York providing sports medicine and athletic training services. This fulltime role is ideal for certified athletic trainers passionate about injury prevention athlete care and rehabilitation. Open to new graduates and experienced professionals.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Evaluate prevent and manage athletic injuries (preconditioning conditioning and reconditioning).
- Provide onsite coverage for school sporting events as scheduled.
- Educate coaches athletes and parents on injury prevention and care.
- Support patient care in schools and clinical settings under physician supervision.
Experience You Will Need:
- Education: Bachelor s degree in Sports Medicine (Master s preferred).
- Licenses/Certifications: NYS Certified Athletic Trainer NATABOC Certification BLS Certification (via RQI system).
- Preferred Experience: 12 years as an athletic trainer in schools or physician practices.
- Skills: Strong leadership flexibility excellent communication and proficiency with Microsoft Office
