An outstanding law firm is seeking a Patent Agent to join its growing Intellectual Property

Practice Group in Phoenix. This role focuses on procuring patent protection for innovative and emerging technologies in Software Development Artificial Intelligence Machine Learning and Semiconductor Manufacturing & Packaging.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Bachelor s degree in computer science Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering Physics or related field.

1 2 years experience in patent prosecution.

Industry experience in software AI ML and semiconductors is strongly preferred.

Registered with the USPTO.

Role and Responsibilities:

Draft file and prosecute U.S. and international patent applications.

Work closely with clients and inventors to develop filing strategies and manage IP portfolios.

Conduct freedomtooperate due diligence and validity assessments.

Respond to office actions and interact with the USPTO and international patent offices.

Provide support in litigation and patent strategy development.

Requirements
