Job Description
Implement local food safety procedures and ensure the procedures comply with all designated central food safety policies and procedures at local level
Continually monitor compliance with the procedures outlined in the DMart Food Safety Manual.
Conduct proactive internal food safety audits and manage corrective actions.
Provide food safety training to involved parties and localize training materials and SOP.
Investigate reports of food safety and quality issues at store level and vendor level
Ensure adherence to legislative food safety requirements.
Provide technical support where required on food safety and quality management.
Monitor regulatory developments with a potential impact on local business entities and initiate internal measures accordingly.
Analyse customer complaint trends and indicators. Contribute to the continuous development of food safety KPIs monitor analyze and report on these to the relevant business stakeholders to support management review and ensure food safety objectives are met.

Qualifications :
Degree in food science or related field.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a food safety food safety scheme audit or quality assurance role.
Fluent proficiency in the local language(s)
Program management and experience in managing program change across multiple store locations
Knowledge of food safety of local laws and regulations and food trading standards
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Exceptional organisational skills
Demonstrated collaborative skills
Selfmotivated with critical attention to detail deadlines and reporting
