About this job:
We are looking for a Reporting Specialist to join our team. The team supports the whole NonLife Operations Function operating with worldwide stakeholders particularly on the areas of Reinsurance Accounting Payment & Collection and Underwriting Operations. The team is currently made up of 3 people based in Paris Strasbourg and Toronto. Role will be focusing mainly on understanding structuring and controlling the data required to enable analysis as well as populating the various reports and dashboards by the team.
Specific responsibilities will include:
- Collaborate with NonLife Operations teams to understand needs and requirements for reporting and analysis and translate them into production reporting
- Define the most efficient way of designing structuring & supplying the data needed for reports and analyses
- Collect format interpret and analyze data to design create and maintain reports and dashboards
- Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders through presentations and written reports
- Develop and implement data quality checks to ensure completeness accuracy and consistency of data
- Support implementation and testing of the reporting framework
- Identify opportunities for improvements and automation to increase efficiency and effectiveness of reporting develop standardized reporting solutions across all locations
- Provide increased focus on analytics and emphasize on providing valuable insights to drive improvement opportunities within NL Operations
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in reporting and analytics provide feedback on technology enhancements that could improve reporting
Qualifications :
About you:
- Critical thinking skills and the ability to understand and manipulate data to provide insightful observations identify trends and communicate these effectively

Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience with a nonlife reinsurer required.
- Knowledge of business tools such as SICS required.
- Experience in reporting and business intelligence
- Experience in programming using Power Query SQL Python or similar programming languages
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI BO Data Virtuality
- Experience in project management
- Excellent communication skills as a key link between IT operations and business people be able to adapt its communication to the audience.
