About the role
On offer: the chance to play a key part in the delivery of projects that make an invaluable contribution to Auckland. Put simply the mahi youll be doing keeps the lights on and homes warm across Tmaki Makaurau.
Working within the Capital Programme Delivery team at Vector youll be part of a team responsible for the delivery of all capital network and large customer investment projects on Vectors regulated electricity networks.
As Senior Project Manager youll direct and manage projects through the project lifecycle to meet defined schedule cost quality health and safety environmental and customer targets. The role will also be the first point of contact for Contractors throughout the life cycle of a project.

Who we are looking for
- Were seeking a highly experienced project manager with a track record of delivering large complex projects using project management disciplines concepts and principles
- Experience within the energy utilities or construction industries is highly advantageous
- A project management qualification is preferred but were happy to support your studies towards this if you already have the experience
- Naturally your communication and relationshipbuilding skills will be key strengths of yours
- Youll be familiar with the MS Office suite including MS Project and confident prioritising a busy workload to meet fixed deadlines.
