About the Role
We are looking for an Intelligence Analyst to join us in an embedded role for our global financial client. You will be based in the clients security team and contributing to international geopolitical and security analysis risks assessments and advisory services.
You will provide tailored tactical and strategic intelligence analysis and consulting to the client as part of a tightknit team. You will be monitoring analysing and advising the client on adverse developments that could affect the security operational continuity and reputation of the business. Such developments include but are not limited to political instability and unrest crime terrorism governance risks and cyber threats.
This is a fulltime hybrid role working core hours Monday to Friday and requiring to be in the office up to 2 days a week with occasional outofhours work for emergencies and timesensitive matters.
Responsibilities
- Utilise all available resources including open sources and vendor feeds to create tailored highimpact actionable insights and recommendations
- Leverage a network of regional expertise and industry contacts to enhance analytical outputs
- Deliver a weekly intelligence product to forecast tactical and strategic risks in key locations as well as regional quarterly briefings. Provide ad hoc geopolitical analysis in response to world events
- Brief executives as needed on key developments trends and content
- Provide situational updates to senior stakeholders during incidents / crises
- Support the clients security team in completing sitespecific threat assessments and travel risk management activities
- Work closely with the clients physical security leadership and GSOC when required.
Requirements
- Experience knowledge and interest in current affairs international relations and emergency security threats
- Experience working in a corporate security setting or similar public or private sector environments
- Strong analysis research and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Ability to research and sift through large amounts of information to produce concise insightful and actionable insights in accordance with tight deadlines
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple scheduled tasks requests and sources of information in an organised way and under minimal guidance
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills with a high attention to detail
- Strong problemsolving skills and interpersonal abilities
- Deep interest and broad understanding of world affairs
- Must have the right to work in the UK
Nice to have
- Undergraduate or Postgraduate qualifications in International Security Intelligence Risk Geopolitics or other related disciplines or equivalent professional experience
- Previous exposure to corporate security teams (e.g. travel risk management executive protection crisis management)
- A strong personal network of subject matter experts
- Expertise in a specific region.
