About the Role
An Independent secondary school in Harrow requires a Design & Technology Teacher for a temporary position starting in April. The role involves delivering engaging D&T lessons across KS3 and KS4 developing students design and practical skills. We are looking for a skilled Design & Technology Teacher to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging Design & Technology lessons at KS3 and KS4.
- Develop students design and practical skills.
- Prepare students for examinations and assessments.
- Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the delivery of the Design & Technology curriculum.
- Organise and lead D&Trelated extracurricular activities.
Qualifications and Experience
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Design & Technology.
- Proven experience in teaching D&T at secondary level.
- Strong technical and practical skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
