Product Analyst Identity Solutions

Visa and its subsidiaries maintain Identity Authorization and Fraud data across multiple systems developed and acquired over time. These comprehensive datasets when effectively analyzed using Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence will yield networkagnostic tools to enhance authorization rates for our merchants and partners within the ecosystem. The Identity Graph consolidates these internal datasets along with relevant external data to construct a holistic 360degree view of all individuals interacting with the ecosystem thus enabling various use cases in identityenabled fraud detection. 
In this role you will be responsible for leading the data insights and discovery for Identity Graph & Unified Directory. You will work closely with product managers for Identity Graph and Unified Directory understanding the key data needs to help them define the product strategy and roadmap. These platforms you will work closely touches nearly every Visa cardholder and client supporting many other core services internally. This role is crucial in ensuring there is data driven insights baked in the product roadmap. This position reports to Visas Senior Director Identity Solutions.
The ideal candidate will operate with minimal guidance in a fastpaced and ambiguous work environment translating highlevel directives into detailed deliverables independently. We seek a highly motivated individual capable of taking ownership and delivering results without constant supervision. They must demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and executive presence effectively communicating the vision and product to both internal stakeholders and external clients. We seek a highly skilled individual someone who is technically proficient can run queries to do data analysis and drive product strategy is an innovative problem solver and can work collaboratively with partners.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the unified directory team to understand their product needs and analyze the data in Identity Graph to provide insights on the product roadmap. 
• Lead the longterm data roadmap for Identity Graph and explore internal and external partnerships to get more sources of data.
• Define key success metrics for POCs with vendors on partnership with Identity Graph.
• Summarize data insights that resonates with diverse audiences who may or may not be deep into the details.
• Work with data governance legal & privacy teams to understand the contractual data rights for new data sources in each market for the use cases.
• Work with stakeholders across various geographical regions and Visa product teams to understand their specific needs from the product and provide articulate data insights
• Define requirements for data science teams to establish assurance levels data cleansing standardization rules and identity resolution algorithms.
• Work with fellow product analysts based out of India to help connect the dots on various ongoing initiatives. 
   

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications :

Basic Qualifications

• 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or an Advanced

Degree (e.g. Masters MBA JD MD or PhD)

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters MBA JD MD)
• Proven experience as a product analyst preferably within a fintech company.
• Selfstarter with the ability to take initiative manage multiple projects and drive them forward to completion.
• Curious and driven always seeking to learn improve and innovate in all aspects of the role.
• Analytical: Be able to break down a complex problem to identify necessary data organize it and summarize it to present a cohesive story.
• Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the operational aspects of a fraud risk model including the ability to evaluate its effectiveness and other essential metrics.
• Communications Skills: Clear concise and influential communication skills with senior leaders and impeccable written communication in both prose and visual presentation.
• Critical Thinking: Exceptional analytical and problemsolving skills with a knack for making datadriven decisions.
• Handson experience with SQL and Excel to run complex analytical studies.

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 510 of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk communicate in person and by telephone frequently operate standard office equipment such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 105800.00 to 149550.00 USD per year which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on jobrelated factors which may include knowledge skills experience and location. In addition this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
