Job Title: Outpatient Neurologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Outpatient Neurologist to join our team at a 420bed hospital in Alabama. This fulltime permanent position offers an opportunity to provide highquality care to patients with a wide range of neurological conditions in an outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to improving patient outcomes developing individualized treatment plans and contributing to the ongoing success of the hospitals neurology department.
Position Details:
Employment Type: FullTime Permanent
Schedule: Monday Thursday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Friday 3hrs
Location: 350bed hospital in Alabama
Compensation: $250000 $400000 per year (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and treat various neurological conditions such as epilepsy migraines Parkinsons disease multiple sclerosis and other neurological disorders.
Conduct thorough patient evaluations including medical histories physical exams and diagnostic tests.
Develop and implement personalized treatment plans including prescribing medications recommending therapies and advising on lifestyle changes.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams within the hospital to ensure coordinated highquality patient care.
Provide education to patients and their families on neurological conditions treatment options and preventive care strategies.
Stay uptodate with the latest research advancements and best practices in neurology to provide evidencebased care.
Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records in accordance with healthcare regulations and hospital policies.
Qualifications:
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
Board certification in Neurology.
Valid medical license to practice in Alabama.
Strong diagnostic and problemsolving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patientcentered approach.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an outpatient setting within a hospital.
Preferred Skills:
Fellowship training or experience in a subspecialty of neurology (e.g. epilepsy movement disorders etc..
Experience with advanced neurological diagnostic tools and technologies.
