Job Description

Adelphi is seeking Registered Nurses (RN) to provide general nursing services at school facilities within Somerset County New Jersey. The ideal candidates will support students with daily medical needs and perform nursing duties as outlined in their IEPs and the NJ School Health Services regulations.

Requirements:

Active NJ license

Current CPR and First Aid certifications

Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate and uptodate student health records

Administer medications monitor vitals perform health screenings

Assist with immunization compliance and health plan development

Supervise emergency interventions (e.g. epinephrine glucagon)

Educate staff on communicable diseases and emergency protocols

Support students during transport to/from school as needed

Collaborate with school health team and Child Study Team

Any other duties as assigned.
