Job Overview
We are seeking highly skilledMIG/Fitter Weldersto join aleading fabrication companyspecializing in the assembly and welding of pole sections. This role requires precision attention to detail and a strong understanding of welding and fabrication techniques.
Primary Responsibilities
Utilizewelding measuring devices including squares levels and tape measures to ensure accurate assembly.
Selectfabrication equipmentand develop a layout assembly and welding procedures.
Secure components bybolting clamping and tackweldingbefore final welding.
Set up and operateArc GasShielded Arc or Gas Weldingequipment to weld parts.
Assemble parts usingbolting methodsas required.
Performproduct repairsby dismantling reshaping and reassembling parts using fabrication equipment such asplate rolling machines plate cutting machines cutting torches and other welding fabrication tools.
Clean poles and welds as required to maintain quality standards.
Maintain and take accountability for essentialtools and equipmentprovided for the job.
Ensure compliance withstate and federal laws ISO Quality Program standards company policies and safety & environmental regulations.
Performadditional dutiesas assigned by the supervisor.
Job Requirements
Proficiency in Metalcore MIG welding
Strong ability toread and interpret blueprints
Experience infabrication and assembly
Ability to workindependently and as part of a team
Commitment tosafety protocols and quality control standards
