Job Description

Business Development Operations 

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Business Development Operations Specialist to play a crucial role in optimizing the performance and efficiency of our Business Development (BD) team. This role will be instrumental in managing our BD tech stack identifying growth opportunities tracking performance and enabling the team to achieve its targets. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of sales processes data analysis and technology with a passion for driving continuous improvement.

Key tasks:

Tech Stack Management:

  • Review and Assessment: Evaluate the current BD tech stack (CRM Outreach Demandbase Consensus Lusha LinkedIn Sales Nav etc. evaluating usage effectiveness and ROI.
  • Platform Optimization: Improve the utilization of existing platforms streamlining workflows and maximizing their potential.
  • Integration and Reporting: Enhance integrations between platforms to ensure seamless data flow and develop robust reporting mechanisms to track key metrics.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments (e.g. Customer Success Marketing) to evaluate and improve the overall tech stack ecosystem.

Performance and Improvement:

  • Opportunity Identification: Identify areas for improvement within the BDR team including process gaps misalignment with other departments and ineffective tool utilization.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to growth inbound conversion rates and opportunity creation. Analyse activity levels to ensure optimal performance across the BD team.
  • Data Analysis: Use data to identify trends patterns and areas of underperformance. Use datadriven insights to recommend and implement process changes and improvements to current working practices.
  • Corrective Actions: Develop and implement corrective action plans to address underperforming areas and drive overall business performance.

Team Enablement and Collaboration:

  • Process Enablement: Train and enable the BD team on new processes tools and best practices ensuring consistent and optimal performance.
  • CrossFunctional Collaboration: partner closely with the BD Enablement team and Marketing teams to maintain alignment share best practices and ensure seamless integration of processes and technologies. Stay informed of process changes within these departments and adapt BD workflows accordingly.

Qualifications :

Qualifications:

  • Proven history in a Business Development Operations or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of sales processes and methodologies.
  • proven history in managing and optimizing sales technology platforms (CRM Outreach Demandbase Consensus Lusha LinkedIn Sales Nav etc..
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Strong communication and social skills 1 with the ability to effectively collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
