HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Performing machine assembly and other assemblyrelated tasks.
- Supporting critical manufacturing processes in Safety Quality Delivery and Cost.
- Meeting specification requirements for products and following defined quality system requirements (work instructions standard work auditing) improving indicators.
- Using basic problemsolving skills.
- Participating as an active member of the production team demonstrating the core value For One Another.
- Maintaining a safe clean and 5S organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
- Other duties as assigned.
THE ENVIRONMENT
- Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures / guidelines must be adhered to. This includes personal protective equipment such as safetytoe shoes safety glasses and hearing protection (optional).
- This is a 1st shift position working 7:00am 3:00pm with overtime as needed.
- The job is within a climatecontrolled environment and you will be exposed to forklifts pedestrian traffic and moderate noise.
- The role involves various physical tasks including lifting and operating machinery with comprehensive training provided.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE
ASSEMBLY TECH 1
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job opening.
- Continental is not able to pay relocation expenses for this opportunity.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Basic assembly skills using the use of hand tools: wrench screwdriver hammer and drill; basic measurement skills using a tape measure.
- Basic mechanical experience.
- Ability to lift to 25 lbs.
- Ability to work 8hour shift.
ASSEMBLY TECH 2
All basic qualifications required for Assembly Tech 1 :
- Minimum of 3 years of Assembly experience in a manufacturing environment assembling components.
- Intermediate demonstrated mechanical knowledge including the use of bridge cranes specialized production tooling and torque wrenches.
- Intermediate measurement skills using calipers.
- Experience with the safe operation of a pallet jack.
- Use of forklift may be required depending on role.
- Ability to perform tasks outside of department as needed.
- Demonstrated proficiency in 2 or more work areas.
ASSEMBLY TECH 3
All basic qualifications required for Assembly Tech 1 & 2 :
- Minimum of 5 years of Assembly experience in a manufacturing environment assembling components.
- Advanced demonstrated mechanical knowledge.
- Ability to diagnose mechanical and/or electrical equipment issues.
- Ability to function as backup to Assembly Team Lead as needed.
ADDITIONAL WAYS TO STAND OUT
- Intermediate computer skills including the use of Microsoft applications and Outlook.
- General understanding of basic safety procedures.
- Experience assembly electrical components highly preferred.

The hourly rate for this position is $15.00 $34.00 per hour. This position is also eligible for a quarterly incentive program.
Pay rate is based upon candidate skills experience and qualifications as well as market and business considerations.
