Job Description

ForTec offers a rewarding career opportunity in a fieldbased position with the primary responsibility of driving sales in new technology pilots.  The Account Executive will leverage relationships and knowledge of hospital processes to gain access to and adoption of pilot technologies through targeting educating and closing of physicians in pilot disease states. 

This selfstarting energetic positive and customerdriven individual is responsible for providing formal written feedback on the clinical value physician demand technician value economic acceptance manufacturer support and collaboration and sustainability of pilot technology.  

Work location:  This position can be based anywhere in the United States reporting directly to the Chief of Strategy and Business Development.  Expected travel of up to 50 throughout the country. 


Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in business administration marketing or related business studies is highly preferred
  • 4 years of related experience or training in medical sales or the medical industry; or the equivalent combination of formal education and experience
  • Over 1 year of sales experience or sales support required
  • Achieve budgeted goals by executing sales activities within assigned market segments
  • Review individual and company goals with manager modifying as needed to produce results
  • Remain knowledgeable and uptodate on changes and developments within the market
  • Prospect to identify appropriate contacts qualify and drive leads by telemarketing cold calling appointment setting and proactive contact of existing customers
  • Qualify and generate sales; confirms business
  • Prepare timely proposals geared to maximize profit while satisfying client needs
  • Collaborate with ForTec Sales Territory Managers to identify key hospital personnel and physician targets in pilot geography
  • Maintain proper flow of information across internal departments communicating client requests to ensure clients are serviced properly effectively and timely
  • Proficient in Microsoft office applications
  • CRM related software experience
