Job Description
Coffman Engineers Honolulu office is seeking an entrylevel Electrical Engineer with 05 years of experience. The successful individual should be comfortable consulting to architectural practices and have a desire to work on a multidiscipline engineering team.
Qualifications :
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 05 years of experience with electrical design
- Strong passion or previous experience in the AEC (architectural engineering and construction) industry.
- Power lighting communications design and layouts utilizing Revit and/or AutoCAD knowledge preferred.
- Awareness of or experience with load calculations branch circuiting voltage drop short circuit calculations and photometric calculations preferred.
- Exposure to power system analysis software such as SKM etap etc. is a plus.
- Report daily project status updates to senior engineer or project manager.
- Ability to work independently with proper engineering oversight.
- Ability to work and collaborate in larger project teams.
- Ability to research applicable codes in National Electrical Code International Building Code etc.
- Registration as an E.I.T. is preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Expected annual salary of $68000 $82000.
