HealthOPM is looking for compassionate and skilled Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs) to join our dedicated team in a longterm care setting in Hawkesbury. Whether youre seeking fulltime parttime or casual hours we have flexible shifts to accommodate your schedule!

Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care & Assessment:

Conduct thorough assessments of residents health and medical histories.

Develop implement and update personalized care plans.
-
Provide handson care including medication administration wound care and other interventions.
Medication Management:
-
Administer prescribed medications and monitor for adverse effects.
-
Educate residents and families on medication administration and side effects.
Resident Advocacy:
-
Advocate for the physical emotional and social wellbeing of residents.

Support families in understanding care needs and provide guidance.
Leadership & Collaboration:
-
Supervise and mentor nursing assistants LPNs and clinical staff.

Ensure compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
Documentation & Compliance:
-
Maintain accurate medical records ensuring adherence to HIPAA and other regulations.

Complete required documentation and incident reports.
Qualifications:
-
Education: Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) with a current license from the CNO.
-
Experience: Experience in longterm care or geriatrics preferred.

Skills & Abilities: Strong clinical assessment communication and organizational skills. Compassionate patientcentered approach to care.
