We are seeking a reliable responsible and friendly Shuttle Driver to provide safe and efficient transportation services for our clients employees or guests. The successful candidate will ensure smooth punctual journeys provide excellent customer service and adhere to safety standards. If you have a strong sense of responsibility excellent driving skills and a passion for customer service we want to hear from you.
Shuttle Service Operations
Transport passengers safely and on time to and from designated locations.
Follow set routes and schedules while maintaining flexibility where necessary.
Ensure the shuttle vehicle is clean wellmaintained and fueled at all times.
Assist passengers with boarding and ensure their safety and comfort throughout the journey.
Customer Service & Communication
Greet passengers in a professional and friendly manner.
Provide information on routes destinations and schedules to passengers.
Handle passenger inquiries and concerns with a courteous and helpful attitude.
Ensure all passengers experience a comfortable and pleasant journey.
Vehicle Maintenance & Reporting
Conduct daily pretrip inspections to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy and safe.
Report any vehicle issues or maintenance needs immediately to the supervisor.
Maintain accurate records of trips mileage and any incidents during transport.
Matric (Grade 12 or equivalent
Valid South African Code 10 drivers license (Code 8 is not acceptable for passenger transport)
Professional Drivers Permit (PDP) Required for transporting passengers
At least 2 years of experience in a driving role preferably in shuttle services or passenger transport
Strong knowledge of local routes and traffic laws
Excellent customer service skills and a friendly professional demeanor
Ability to communicate effectively in English (additional languages are a plus)
Physically fit and able to assist passengers with boarding if needed
Clear criminal and credit record (background checks may be required)
References from previous employers or positions held as a driver
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays
First Aid Level 1 certification (beneficial but not essential)
Experience in the transport or tourism industry
Familiarity with GPS systems and route planning tools
Work Location: City Gauteng/Western Cape/KwazuluNatal South Africa
