Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Assess and manage patients referred for physiotherapy independently and implement appropriate treatment plans.
- Report to referring doctor and other members of the medical team.
- Document patient physiotherapy records accurately.
- Charge patients accurately.
- Comply with clinical and service standards.
- Practice within areas of professional competence and seek clinical support from supervisor / other healthcare professionals when appropriate.
- Collaborate with other healthcare members and participate in case conferences.
- Assist and/or colead in projects and activities which supports the goals of the department and organisation at department or institution level.
- Any other duties or responsibilities as assigned.
- Manage and oversee therapy equipment inventory.
- Contribute to departmental inservice training programmes home hospital educational talks and external talks/ workshops/ forums/ seminars.
- Review and update of clinical protocols and SOPs.
- Assist in developing promoting / marketing clinical services.
- Assist in the induction of new physiotherapists.
Job Requirements:
- Full AHPC registration.
- Recognized Diploma or Degree in Physiotherapy.
- Min. 2 years of relevant experience.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Service oriented and customer focused.
- Motivated selfdriven and able to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
- Passion for transforming traditional healthcare models through innovative care delivery.
