MEMS Development Engineering Intern Temporary

We seek a MEMS Development Engineering intern who is actively enrolled as a fulltime student pursuing an Undergraduate or Graduate degree in Material Science Chemistry Chem Bio or NanoEngineering or a related field at a fouryear university. This intern will work with a crossfunctional team that interacts across different areas of device fabrication to develop next generation products. This will be up to a 3month paid internship hourly rate range $25$35/hour commensurate with experience. This is a temporary position employed by SwipeJobs working on site at Fujifilm Dimatix.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

As aMEMS Development Engineer Internyou will be responsible for creating device samples for evaluation and then collecting and analyzing detailed data from materials characterization and metrology tools to develop novel processes applied to cuttingedge MEMSbased piezoelectric inkjet printheads. Your work will also require assisting in the documentation process experimental design and refinement of characterization procedures. Additionally you will be working in a clean room environment requiring clean room protocol (smock hood gloves booties etc..

REQUIRED:

• Level of Senior or above and in good standing at a fouryear university enrolled as a full time student pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree inMaterial Science Chemistry Chem Bio or NanoEngineering or a related field
• Familiar with working principles and concepts of MEMS devices. Experience with MEMS a plus
• Comfortable in a laboratory environment
• Semiconductor process coursework with some actual fabrication experience a plus
• Handson experience with materials characterization metrology and/or laboratory tools
• Some familiarity with nanomaterials surface science surface modification selfassembled monolayers and similar topical areas
• Work experience especially in a related field through coop internship or projects
• Selfmotivated enthusiastic good problem solving skills responsible with a strong work ethic
• Able to work in teams on various projects and efficiently communicate to others
• Detailoriented and able to clearly document the work done
• Ability to analyze data and communicate results
