  • 46670 per annum (pro rata for part time)
  • 37 hours per week Flexible working options available
  • Fixed Term or Secondment for 12 months

Reimagine the possibilities

The CYP (Children and Young People) Programmes team is currently seeking a talented and dedicated Project Manager to join their dynamic team. This role presents an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children and young people across Suffolk.

We have identified a need to strengthen our programmes function with particular focus on:

  • managing and supporting various change programmes and service improvements
  • responding effectively to national reforms
  • specifically supporting the new Families First programme.

Your role and responsibilities

You will:

  • lead strategic service development and continuous improvement initiatives within social care ensuring highquality services that comply with statutory requirements and deliver optimal outcomes for children young people and families
  • apply established project management methodologies to plan execute and monitor projects setting clear milestones managing deadlines and ensuring deliverables align with organisational objectives and stakeholder needs
  • manage dynamic teams resources and budgets while fostering a culture of effective practice using Suffolk Signs of Safety and Wellbeing principles and tools
  • take responsibility for performance management quality assurance and datadriven decision making implementing comprehensive monitoring systems to track project progress and outcomes
  • build and maintain collaborative partnerships with internal and external stakeholders proactively developing new opportunities for integrated service delivery and joint working
  • identify and manage project risks appropriately employing mitigation strategies while maintaining a safeguarding focus and empowering staff to develop highquality innovative practice.

You will need:

  • a suitable professional qualification at post graduate level or equivalent experience at seasoned professional level in a relevant area of work
  • evidence of continuing professional development in a management role or similar role.
