Overview
The Data Analyst role is pivotal in guiding strategic decisions within our organization. As a Data Analyst on a W2 contract you will leverage your analytical skills to interpret complex datasets transforming raw data into actionable insights that support business objectives. By utilizing various data visualization tools and statistical methods you will identify trends patterns and anomalies that provide essential information to stakeholders. Key Responsibilities
- Collect clean and validate data from various sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends and patterns.
- Develop data models to facilitate analysis and reporting.
- Create interactive dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Utilize statistical methods to analyze data and forecast outcomes.
- Collaborate with team members to understand their data needs and provide relevant insights.
- Present findings to management in a clear and actionable format.
- Implement data tracking systems to optimize data collection procedures.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics to suggest improvements.
- Maintain documentation of data processes and methodologies.
- Train and support staff on data analysis tools and interpretation.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data analysis.
- Participate in project planning to align data analysis efforts with business initiatives.
- Assist in troubleshooting data issues or discrepancies.
- Support adhoc analysis and reporting requests as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Mathematics Statistics Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven work experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau Power BI or equivalent.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python or R.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables and macros.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis techniques and methodologies.
- Excellent problemsolving abilities and critical thinking skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to communicate complex data findings to nontechnical stakeholders.
- Experience with data cleaning and data preparation processes.
- Knowledge of database management and data warehousing concepts.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies.
- Previous experience in a fastpaced dynamic work environment.
