About the Role
An Independent secondary school in Islington requires a dedicated Psychology Teacher to join their social sciences department from September. The role involves delivering engaging psychology lessons at KS4 and KS5 fostering students understanding of human behaviour and mental processes. We are looking for a skilled Psychology Teacher to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging psychology lessons at KS4 and KS5.
- Prepare students for examinations and assessments.
- Develop students understanding of human behaviour and mental processes.
- Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the development of the psychology curriculum.
- Organise and lead psychologyrelated extracurricular activities.
Qualifications and Experience
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Psychology.
- Proven experience in teaching psychology at secondary level including ALevel.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for psychology.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
