About the Role:
We are looking for a highly skilled and autonomous WordPress Developer to join our digital team. You will work independently under the supervision of a Project Manager based in France and be responsible for delivering highquality custom WordPress solutions across various projects.
Main Responsibilities:
Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch
Convert design mockups (Figma Adobe XD etc. into fully functional websites
Build fast secure and scalable WordPress websites
Ensure ongoing maintenance updates and technical optimization
Troubleshoot issues perform debugging and write clean documentation
Collaborate with a Frenchbased project manager via tools such as Slack ClickUp and Notion
Manage development environments (local/staging/production) independently
Your Profile
Minimum 5 years experience as a WordPress developer
Strong skills in PHP HTML CSS JavaScript MySQL
Excellent command of the WordPress ecosystem (custom post types hooks filters ACF WPCLI etc.
Ability to develop custom plugins and themes with no reliance on page builders
Solid understanding of technical SEO performance optimization and security best practices
Proficient with version control tools (Git)
Highly autonomous organized and capable of managing tasks without constant supervision
Fluent in English (French is a plus but not mandatory)
