About the Role:
- Deliver engaging and challenging History lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 following the schools curriculum.
- Develop and implement effective lesson plans that cater to a range of learning styles and abilities utilizing a variety of teaching resources and strategies.
- Assess student progress through essays source analysis presentations and class participation providing timely and constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the development of teaching resources and schemes of work within the History department.
Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in History.
- A good understanding of the secondary history curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and inspire students.
- A passion for history and the ability to foster critical thinking and analytical skills.
