Job Description

The Services Digitization organization is focused on the design development and delivery of products that elevate the client experience making engagement with Visa simple intuitive and rewarding.

 

Essential Functions

The User Experience (UX) Designer will be responsible for delivering endtoend user experience designs for the Services Digitization team responsible for Visas clientfacing portals to drive consistency usability and customer centricity.

S(he) will operate as part of a CX team and product team within Client Services to bring the customer voice into the business and deliver differentiated customer experiences. The User Experience Designer will work closely with product managers and other key stakeholders across Client Services to identify user needs and pain points and should be an analytical and creative designer who is able to grasp user needs and solve problems in complex use case scenarios. A strong portfolio of successful UX projects is essential. This role requires a UX designer whos experienced at taking complex user tasks and transforming them into intuitive beautiful and accessible user experiences.

The designer will work alongside the product team to build indepth understanding of client and user needs pain points and jobs to be done by leveraging research findings behavioral analytics customer interaction data and insights. S(he) will contribute to customer experience requirements for new solutions and will partner with Product Management Global Design and Platform Delivery teams to bring new selfservice experiences to life.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Journey mapping

  • Wireframing

  • UX/UI design

  • Prototyping

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.


Qualifications :

Basic Qualifications
5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters MBA JD MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications
6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters MBA JD MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
Solid proficiency in user journey mapping wireframing prototyping and UI design on commonly used UX/UI design solutions (Figma).
Strong understanding of Information Architecture and Interaction Design. Hands on experience with user testing are desired. Experience in web analytics and product analytics (Pendo Google Analytics Medallia) would be highly regarded.
Experience in designing user interfaces for large commercial SaaS product or B2B webbased software especially those that are datarich with complex scenarios and workflows is desired.
Experienced in designing for mobile apps or mobile optimized sites. Knowledge in mobile usability patterns and an appreciation for clean simple and usable interfaces is important.
Familiar with web accessibility best practices. HTML & CSS knowledge will help.
Ability to manage ambiguity and demonstrate resilience when faced with obstacles
Bias for action selfstarter mentality and growth mindset


What will also help:
Background or experience in designing finance software is a plus.
Experience in user behavior analytics (Pendo Google Analytics Medallia Tableau etc).
Mobile app design experience.
Knowledge in accessibility and inclusive design


Additional Information :

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 510 of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk communicate in person and by telephone frequently operate standard office equipment such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 112100.00 to 162600.00 USD per year which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on jobrelated factors which may include knowledge skills experience and location. In addition this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical Dental Vision 401 (k) FSA/HSA Life Insurance Paid Time Off and Wellness Program.
