Job Description
What Will You Be Doing In this role youll be a significant player in your category and have the opportunity to shape our procurement strategy for a major ingredient. In this role delivering superior results is critical and youll have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of suppliers dive into market trends and drive innovative sourcing initiatives across the globe. This role is hybrid but based at our site in Wallingford along with global business travel!
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Support delivery of the strategic direction for the category that aligns with our overall goals.
- Lead the sourcing process to ensure we achieve optimal outcomes through comprehensive analysis and supplier engagement.
- Drive Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) to encourage collaboration and innovation.
- Evaluate market dynamics to effectively manage risks
- Collaborate across divisions to implement best practices and enhance our procurement community.
Qualifications :
Who Are You You bring experience in procurement and/or supply chain ideally within FMCG and have a strong background in sourcing within food ingredients or chemical markets. Youre a skilled communicator who can engage confidently with senior stakeholders and suppliers alike. You thrive in a collaborative environment ready to roll up your sleeves and make things happen. With your analytical mindset and attention to detail you have a keen understanding of commercial acumen. Welltravelled and culturally aware you are comfortable navigating different cultures and building relationships around the world. Whether negotiating in the boardroom or solving challenges out in the field you bring a widened perspective and a resultsdriven approach to everything you do.
