Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Estimator to prepare accurate cost projections and budgets for residential construction projects ensuring alignment with technical specifications and financial goals. The role involves analyzing floor plans managing variation orders and collaborating with crossfunctional teams to deliver precise estimates. This position is critical for maintaining project feasibility cost efficiency and compliance with industry
standards.
- Interpret architectural floor plans and technical drawings to prepare detailed cost estimates for residential construction projects.
- Develop comprehensive budgets including material labor and equipment costs for new home builds and renovations.
- Prepare and manage variation costings ensuring accurate adjustments to project scopes and client approvals.
- Review supplier invoices for discrepancies resolve billing issues and ensure timely payment processing.
- Collaborate with sales and administrative teams to support contract administration permit applications and project planning.
- Utilize estimation software to streamline data entry cost modeling and report generation.
- Maintain uptodate knowledge of construction materials pricing trends and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure all estimates adhere to Australian residential building standards and volume home construction
Requirements
Requirements/Skills needed:
- Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management or a related field is required.
- 5 years of experience in construction estimation specifically in residential and volume home building.
- Proficiency in estimation software and advanced Excel skills.
- Indepth knowledge of Australian residential construction standards materials and methodologies.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively balancing team input with autonomous decisionmaking.
- Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks meet deadlines and manage multiple projects.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in cost calculations and documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills for stakeholder collaboration.

- Setup and Location: WFH/Remote
- Work Schedule: 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM (ACST) 5:30 AM to 2:30 PM (PH Time)
- Employment Type: Fulltime

Proficiency in REVIT for drafting and technical documentation. Strong understanding of construction detailing, materials, and interior finishes.
