Job Summary:
The Implementation Specialist is responsible for onsite installation and training of Client software and resold hardware products. In this role the specialist will primarily operate as a secondary or team resource to a Project Lead or Project Manager but may also take the lead on portions of projects during installation engagements. The Implementation Specialist is expected to effectively manage assigned tasks communicate professionally with all stakeholders learn new products and processes quickly and balance multiple priorities while gaining an indepth understanding of Client products across various vertical markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consultation and Recommendations: Work with Project Management to identify operational considerations and configure systems that support customer requirements. Provide recommendations to optimize the use of Client products while maximizing operational efficiencies.
- Scope Management: Assist in identifying and managing project scope. Ensure all parties are aware of project tasks and milestones while working with Project Management to mitigate risks and develop effective communication and escalation plans.
- Site Requirements and Configuration: Gather site requirements and review operational designs to ensure readiness for installation. Configure and test systems to ensure efficiency and operational consistency.
- Integration and Testing: Collaborate with Project Management and the Integration Team to ensure all necessary interfaces and integration components are scheduled and tested effectively.
- Training and Documentation: Prepare training materials and conduct training sessions for end users. Develop detailed project documentation at project completion ensuring the Customer Care team has all relevant information for continued support.
- EndUser Support: Provide live monitoring during operations and offer enduser assistance for various business cases where Client products are implemented.
- Process Improvement: Work with client teams to develop processes procedures and documentation that enhance the implementation and training services offered by the organization.
- Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned to support project success.
Requirements
- Travel Availability: Willingness to travel 90 of the time both domestically and internationally.
- Experience: 23 years of experience with onsite installation of POS (Point of Sale) products.
- Training Experience: 23 years of experience with onsite training for POS products.
- Education: High School Diploma required.
- Technical Skills: Strong experience with software networks and cloud technology particularly related to POS and related systems.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate professionally with coworkers project stakeholders and customers.
- Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously prioritize tasks effectively and work in a fastpaced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Client products or similar POS and hospitality software systems is a plus.
- Background in providing implementation services in the hospitality or retail industry.
Certifications (if any):
Relevant certifications in POS software installation or cloud technologies (Preferred).
$31/hr Hourly pay with OT included. Yearend based bonus on company performance Could be up to 4 of their annualized hourly pay.

Requirements: B.S. degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent 5+ years Salesforce development experience across multiple clouds 5+ years of experience with technical Salesforce implementations & development projects 4 + years in a consulting environment Strong client management & client communication experience 3+ years experience in Financial Services (Banking, Wealth & Asset Management expertise highly desired) 2+ years Financial Service Cloud (FSC) required Strong understanding of relational databases & working with large data sets Application development experience with Apex, JavaScript, Java, C#, SQL or similar Proficiency with APIs -- REST and SOAP-based web services (SOA) Experience in Object Oriented concepts and design, experience with OO languages Proficient in SFDC technologies including configuration and custom development Active in the Salesforce or other technical communities in the form of blogs, stack exchange posts, github and the like. Preferred Skills & Attributes: Experience working with On & Off-Shore teams Leadership/mentorship of more junior developers & other technologists Polyglot with experience in both OO and functional programming languages like Java, Ruby, Python, JavaScript One or more current Salesforce certifications Nice to Have experience; nCino, velocity, Omni, MuleSoft
