Clinical Shift Schedule: 5 days/week; 8 10 and 12hour shifts starting at 7:00 AM until cases are completed

Case Mix: Full spectrum of surgical procedures including kidney transplants (no liver heart transplants)

PICU (Level I): 6 beds

Specialty Backup Available: Anesthesia MDs and CRNAs
Support Staff Available: CRNAs fellow Anesthesiologists

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Licenses: Active West Virginia medical license required
Certifications:
ABA Board Certification in Anesthesiology
ACLS
BLS
DEA
Preferred: National Board of Echocardiography Special Competence in Perioperative Transesophageal Echocardiography
Experience: Not specified but proficiency in cardiothoracic anesthesiology required
Other Qualifications: Proficiency with Cerner EMR
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide anesthesia care across a wide surgical spectrum
Collaborate with CRNAs and other Anesthesia MDs
Manage anesthesia for patients across all age groups
Support Level 1 trauma center operations
Deliver safe and effective perioperative care
