Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to empower individuals in enhancing their daily living skills and achieving greater independence. This role provides the opportunity to deliver therapy in educational clinical or community settings while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to promote client success and wellbeing.

In this position you will conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess motor sensory and functional abilities developing personalized treatment plans to meet each client s unique needs. You will implement targeted therapy sessions to enhance motor skills sensory integration and daily activities working closely with families educators and other professionals to maximize progress. Maintaining detailed records of assessments treatment plans and progress is essential to ensuring compliance with industry standards. Additionally you will recommend adaptive tools and strategies to promote independence actively participate in IEP meetings to support goalsetting and stay up to date on best practices through continuous professional development.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Master s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university. While prior experience in occupational therapy is preferred it is not required. Additionally applicants must possess a valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with an Occupational Therapy (OT) endorsement in the state of Illinois.
