Job Description

Summary:

Join our database team to build and maintain scalable efficient and secure database solutions. As a Database Repository Engineer youll handle schema changes build data pipelines optimize performance and collaborate with the dev and BI teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines and database scripts.
  • Perform schema updates index optimization and data validation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve databaserelated issues and performance bottlenecks.
  • Collaborate with frontend/backend developers and analysts to ensure data quality and accessibility.
  • Contribute to the design of the Data Lake and Data Warehouse.
  • Maintain documentation and ensure alignment with security standards.
  • Architect database solutions for scalability and longterm efficiency.
  • Lead databaserelated initiatives and standardization efforts.
  • Mentor junior/midlevel engineers and conduct code reviews.
  • Guide implementation of best practices across database workflows.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in database engineering.
  • Expertise in SQL ETL/ELT processes and database performance tuning.
  • Experience with relational databases like MySQL and MariaDB.
  • Familiarity with BI/reporting tools and integration with external systems (Shopify Recharge etc..
  • For senior roles: experience in team leadership architecture and complianceaware database design.
