Job Overview:
We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team on a fulltime basis. As an LPN at Medical 1 you will play a critical role in providing direct patient care and ensuring the wellbeing of our patients. You will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to deliver personalized and comprehensive care to our patients.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures
Maintain accurate and uptodate patient records
Educate patients and their families on health conditions treatment plans and selfcare techniques
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients
Adhere to all company policies procedures and safety standards
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements:
Valid LPN license in the state of New York
Proven experience as an LPN in a healthcare setting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a fastpaced and dynamic environment
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Basic computer skills and knowledge of electronic medical records systems
