Position Overview
Chaoyin International Education Group (CIEG) is seeking dedicated and qualified fulltime teachers to teach IB courses as homeroom teacher at our schools in the beautiful coastal city of Qingdao China. Applicants must:
- A Bachelor degree or above required;
- Possess a valid Certificate of Qualification (e.g. TEFL TESOL or equivalent);
- Be prepared to use technology for planning attendance monitoring communication classroom instruction and reporting purposes;
- Monitor assess and record students learning progress;
- Communicate with parents to ensure they are aware of their childrens progress;
- Supervise classroom activities;
- Participate in parent meetings department meetings and professional development activities;
- Be prepared to work positively towards the fulfillment of the School goals.
Preference will be given to those applicants who:
- Dedicated educator love for children and willing to get to know more about Chinese culture;
- Have knowledge in and passion for IB Program or B.C. Revised Curriculum;
- Be able to work collaboratively with program coordinator and teachers;
- Be able to develop/design course materials and unit plans with an integration of Chinese curriculum;
- Be able to incorporate lessons/activities focusing on developing students social and emotional capacities;
- Be able to create active and inquirybased teaching and learning in the classroom (applicants with a background in Science is a plus);
- Be able to evaluate students based on learning outcomes;
- Be able to adhere to the school professional regulations.
Salary and Benefits:
Monthly Salary: $5700 $9000 CAD (before tax) depending on years of teaching experience. (with 50 payfor all Winter/Summer holidays)

- Annual return flight to Canada/flight allowance;
- Medical Insurance;
- Work Visa support.
