Job Summary

Parttime hybrid position available in the Lane Lab at Brigham and Womens Hospital Division of Sleep and Circadian Disorders to assist the clinical research coordinator and the postdoctoral fellows in the Circadia Research Study. The Circadia Study is an ongoing remote clinical study aimed at understanding the genetic influences of atypical circadian rhythms such as advanced sleep phase disorder delayed sleep phase disorder and non24 hour disorders.


Qualifications

Parttime hybrid position available in the Lane Lab at Brigham and Womens Hospital Division of Sleep and Circadian Disordersto assist the clinical research coordinator and the postdoctoral fellows in the Circadia Research Study. The Circadia Study is an ongoing remote clinical study aimed at understanding the genetic influences of atypical circadian rhythms such as advanced sleep phase disorder delayed sleep phase disorder and non24 hour disorders.

The responsibilities of the research trainee include but are not limited to the following:

  • Screening new subjects electronically
  • Recruiting and consenting subjects (remotely via Zoom)
  • Maintaining study logs
  • Assembling study kits
  • Overseeing and coordinating visits to clinical sites (if permitted)
  • Data entry and organization/management tools
  • Laboratory experience is not necessary
  • Must have strong attention to detail and consistency
  • Encouraged to attend workshops seminars meetings of their interest and to engage with others outside of the lab for personal and intellectual growth
  • Please note that there is very minimal patient interaction

The ideal candidate must be organized selfmotivated flexible and able to work independently after training. They must pay close attention to detail and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Previous students have included premed and health science students.
