Job Description
Nurse Position Overview
The Nurse plays a crucial role in delivering immediate and highquality care to critically ill or injured patients upon their arrival at the hospital. They are primarily stationed in emergency departments (EDs) intensive care units (ICUs) and surgical wards ensuring that patients are stabilized and receive appropriate medical intervention.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Patient Evaluation & Triage: Rapid assessment of patients based on the severity of their condition.
- Emergency Medical Treatment: Administering initial treatments medications IV fluids oxygen therapy and wound care.
- Critical Care & Intensive Care Assistance: Supporting lifesaving procedures such as resuscitation airway management and cardiac monitoring.
- Surgical Preparation & Support: Assisting in preparing patients for emergency surgeries collaborating with surgical teams and providing postoperative monitoring.
- Coordination & Collaboration: Working closely with physicians surgeons anesthetists and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care.
- Patient & Family Assistance: Providing emotional support and clear communication to patients and their families regarding treatment plans.
- RecordKeeping & Compliance: Maintaining accurate records following hospital protocols and adhering to patient safety regulations.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in intensive care surgical settings or emergency admission.
- Professional certification (Bachelors or Masters degree) in Pediatric nursing.
- Proficiency in the English language.
- Willingness to learn the German language.
