TMD Staffing is looking to hire CNC Horizontal Mill Operators in the Baltimore area Bowie MD area!
WORK ENVIRONMENT:InPerson
PAY RATE:$20.00 $25.00 per hour
SCHEDULE: First Shift; 6:00AM2:30PM Monday through Friday
JOB DESCRIPTION: The horizontal mill operator ensures that the machine is set up properly functioning well and producing quality product. He or she runs the machine and adjusts it to control speed material feed and the punching process. The ideal candidate is safety minded embraces change is a problem solver an innovative thinker and is experienced in prioritizing production runs to ensure that parts are available to meet production demands. Machine operator is able to sort jobs by material and/or part numbers sequence operations and pull/stock material as required
*Must be good with hand tools*
QUALIFICATIONS:
25 years of experience on a CNC horizontal mill or similar machine in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with Elumatec and/or Emmegi is a plus
Basic understanding of GCode CNC programming
Experience in a lean manufacturing or continuous improvement manufacturing environment is a plus
Ability to accurately use and read tape measure calipers and others as required
Ability to read drawing and blueprints
Attention to detail and when in doubt stop and ask
Must pass background check as well as preemployment physical and drug screen
