Required Skills : SQL in place upgrades: Project: Bringing in someone to automate. Upgrade from Windows 2016 to Windows 2022 upgrade the cluster to automate. Ansible scripts: Perform scripting small Ansible scripts to chain together to automate a complex task. Couple years working with Ansible. Proactive steps: Ensuring the new server can handle the upgrade. Doing automated snapshot on the VM ESX cluster. 99.44 Windows servers are VMs this lives in VM ESX clusters need snapshots of the system administrator. With Ansible from a Windows perspective not UNIX/Linux. Relying heavily on PowerShell scripts. Verifying SQL clusters are okay not a SQL person but a Windows SQL person. Focused on the OS Windows understanding how SQL works on the clusters. Background: Doesnt have to be banking; this is all technology background. Servers in the 1000s automation of a large environment (BNY has 20k servers large percentage will be upgraded).
