Job Title: LVN/LPN

Location: Mather CA

Start Date: April 2025

Duration: 12 Months (Options for 26 weeks Contract)

Shift Schedule: 8 / 12 hrs per day

Qualification

Education: Graduate of a stateapproved school of practical/vocational nursing.

License: Any state LPN/LVN license is acceptable

Certification: BLS

Experience: Minimum of 2year of experience in direct patient care

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care Monitor vital signs assist with dressing hygiene and mobility.
• Support nursing care plans Work under RNs to implement and evaluate patient care.
• Administer medications Give oral topical and intramuscular medications and report adverse effects.
• Perform procedures Change sterile dressings insert and irrigate catheters & nasogastric tubes give enemas and use oxygen/suction equipment.
• Assist in diagnostic procedures Help with lumbar punctures biopsies and thoracentesis and collect lab specimens.
• Monitor patient condition Observe and document physical and emotional status including changes in vital signs speech and orientation.
• Emergency response Recognize and act on cardiopulmonary arrest choking and violent behavior.
• Provide patient education Reinforce pre/postop care instructions medication use and equipment operation.
